MFR/EMT/Paramedic Open House
On March 14th, we will be holding an Open House for those interested in obtaining their Medical First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician Certifications or Paramedic Degree for classes starting in the summer and fall of 2012. The Open House will be held at the University Center in Gaylord from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Geographic Information Science Degree - Open House
March 15th we will be holding an Open House for those interested in obtaining their Associate Degree in the field of Geographic Information Science. Classes will be starting in the summer and fall of 2012. The Open House will be held at the University Center in Gaylord from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Hotel Restaurant & Resort Management Degree - OPEN HOUSE
On March 22nd, Northwood University, will be holding an Open House for anyone interested in pursuing a management career in the hotel restaurant and resort industry. This will be the first time this four year degree has been offered in northern Michigan and it will be delivered in its entirety at the University Center. Enrollment starts this spring with classes commencing in September.
LEGO Robotics Teacher Workshop
The UC Gaylord, with the assistance of the Community Foundation, has purchased a complete LEGO Education Robotics Engineering lab.
The purpose of this Workshop is to attract science/math/technology oriented instructors who might be interested in teaching our first classes this summer. There will be three one week classes offered to students entering grades 5&6, 7&8 and 9,10 & 11 subject to a maximum of 24 students per class. The dates for student classes will be published by February 1st. Teachers will be compensated as part of our Community Education program.

Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.)
Eastern Michigan University will be holding two Open Houses for educational professionals who wish to pursue a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D). They will be held on January 26th and May 4th at the University Center in Gaylord from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm.
