OCCOA Parkinson's Support Group

Otsego County Commission on Aging hosts a Parkinson's Support Group, on the 4th Thurs each month, dedicated to people living with Parkinson's, including those they love.  Exercise and healthy refreshments are available at each session.

The topic for May 23 is Water Therapy and FUN! with guest presenter Anita Wadsworth.

The Otsego County Commission on Aging presents a monthly Educational Breakfast series of lighter-fare education that can be applied to life situations.

Continental Breakfast is included, with a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

The June 6 topic is Skin Cancer.

OCCOA Caregiver Support Group

Otsego County Commission on Aging offers a caregiver support group, dedicated to persons living with dementia and their caregivers, on the third Saturday of every month. The topic for June 15 is Utilizing hospice services on the continuum of care, with guest presenter Char Lundy, RN.

Grant funded Respite Care is available at Otsego Haus for those whose caregivers wish to attend the Support Group meeting.
