North Central Michigan College (NCMC) offers general education courses and Associate degrees that serve as a gateway to a vast array of programs through the University Center Gaylord.
NCMC provides an Associate of Arts, Associate of General Studies, and Associate of Applied Science in Geographic Information Systems...each completed entirely at UCGaylord.
New Certificate of Development offerings include Truck Driving, Medical Billing and Coding, and Bookkeeping.
Classes are offered during daytime and evenings Monday through Thursday to appeal to a variety of scheduling needs. Come see why NCMC has been a proud partner of the UC Gaylord since 1973!

North Central offers high school students an opportunity to attend college while in high school in accordance with Michigan Dual Enrollment legislation.
- High school students in grades 11 and 12 may be eligible for dual enrollment as recommended by their high school.
- Students must apply on-line for admission to North Central at www.ncmich.edu and submit ACT or Compass test scores.
- Each semester, students meet with their high school counselor to complete a North Central Dual Enrollment Registration Request Form.
- Requirements for eligibility for dual enrollment are facilitated and approved by the student’s high school guidance counselors.
