Whether a new candidate or transferring from another test site, the first step is to contact us to make an appointment for an Intake Session. You can enroll at either the Cheboygan or Gaylord locations depending upon which is most convenient for you.

All Intakes are conducted in the morning unless an alternative arrangement has been made. As stated in the “General Description of the GED Program”, the Intake Session will take up to three hours and a fee is due at time of appointment.
The Intake fee and exam fees can be paid by credit card in advance online. If you wish to do so, please click on “Online Payment” below. Note that the Intake fee is non-refundable and payment should be made only after setting an appointment with either Mark or Jack. If you are a new student, the Intake fee is $50. However, if you previously enrolled in another test site after January 1, 2002 and wish to transfer to the University Center Test Site, the Intake fee is $25. The cost of each exam and retakes is $25.
If you are a New Candidate and wish to pay online, we recommend that you do not pay for any exams until the Intake Session has been completed. You cannot pre-pay and take a GED exam until you have completed your new student Intake or Site Transfer.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: If you plan to begin, or continue, your GED exams, it is strongly recommended that you complete your GED before the end of December 2013, when new regulations will take effect. If a GED is not completed at that time, any of the student's prior exams will be voided and students will have to begin the GED exams, and fees, anew. Call today for more information!
