Attendees will work with scientists and discovery guides to learn how to collect plant and animal information that help scientists, educators and decision makers around the world. They will also have an opportunity to enjoy the additional festival activities such as:  Face painting and hands-on exploration station.

Rain or Shine!!  Answer the Call-Discovery Nature's Mysteries.   Complete the list of Exploration Stations and earn a Bioblitz Participation Pin and Biodiversity University Certificate!

Come for a few hours....or spend the whole day to enjoy this unique family friendly experience in our beautiful outdoors!

About the Day's Activities:
Scientists from sponsor organizations will be stationed at various locations at the Gaylord Community Schools Learning Center/Aspen Park to help participants engage in unique research.
This year’s Bioblitz offers family friendly games, art and nature exploration such as:

  • Face painting.
  • Passport to Nature:  Receive your BioBlitz Citizen Scientist pin.
  • Sign-up for Biodiversity University and earn a Biodiversity Certificate.
  • Hands on Science Exploration Stations
  • Guided Nature Tours
