GED Program

University Center Gaylord GED Testing Program

 

The University Center Gaylord is an official Pearson Vue GED Testing Site offering scheduled computer based testing.  The GED test is an online four subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers.

After you pass the GED test, your diploma or credential will be issued by your state, but you will receive a GED transcript to apply to college, start training, or get a better job.

 

 

 

Once you successfully complete your GED, a University Center adviser will be available to meet with you to explain potential next steps to advancing your education, defining a career or obtaining a certificate or degree, including how to apply for financial aid to assist with college tuition and expenses.  We are here to help you succeed!

REGISTERING for the GED® Test on Computer

Test-takers can register online, through the Pearson VUE call center at 1-877-EXAM-GED (392-6433), or at select test centers. Our goal is to enable you to successfully complete all four GED tests as quickly as possible and on the first attempt. Retakes are limited to six times in one year and you must pay $37.50 for each retake. It is to your advantage to study, if necessary, so you can pass the first time, obtain your highest scores and avoid additional expense.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Start by visiting www.GED.com, click on Register Today and create an account.
Enter your legal name as it appears on your primary identification
Remember that an email address will be required for this step!
Once your account is created, you’ll receive an account activation email with a registration code

Step 2: Complete Registration Questions

Step 4: Schedule Your Test: Select your test; test location, date and time; pay for the test with credit or debit card; review your receipt

You will receive an email with appointment details that include the test time, test center address, ID requirements, the cancellation and reschedule policy, and any items to bring with you.
