Meeting and Training Rooms

The University Center rooms and technology are available for use by business and non-profit organizations for meetings, training and exhibits, six days a week from as early as 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Rooms can be rented by the hour, half day or day. Depending on the type of meeting being held, we have general purpose, computer labs and real time interactive video conferencing for up to four sites simultaneously.

Our Technology

We have the finest technology available. Every room includes a moderator/instructor podium enabling simultaneous use of the Internet, DVD, VCR, Document Camera, CD, MS Office and your laptop. Below are some screen shots of the control panel and overhead projection system. One computer lab also includes interactive video conferencing for distance training and instruction. Every room has WiFi.

Sample Layouts for General Purpose Rooms

The general purpose rooms can be arranged to fit your preference. We have prepared some sample arrangements that are frequently used by our clients. These include samples for larger group, up to 80 people, whereby we open two rooms into one.

The MACRAO Transfer Agreement through Kirtland Gaylord M-TEC allows for smooth transferability of courses among participating Michigan colleges and universities.

It stipulates that 30 semester hours of 100-level and above compatible general coursework will satisfy typical freshman and sophomore-level general education requirements for the bachelor’s degree at participating universities. A KCC student who completes the 30 credit hours for the MACRAO Transfer Agreement and who seeks to transfer to another institution must request that Student Services stamp his/her transcript “MACRAO Agreement Satisfied.” Check each school’s policies for further information.
